The cut list stays local. No saw is controlled remotely.

Sheet dimensions, kerf, margins, part labels, and layouts are calculated only on the current page. SheetNest does not upload CAD files, connect to saws or CNC machines, or automatically generate or send machine instructions.

Fast estimate, not a production cutting plan

The tool sorts parts by their largest dimension and uses a shelf-packing heuristic, rotating when allowed and accounting for one uniform margin and kerf. Each row expands to at most 1,000 parts to protect the browser. Utilization is placed-part area divided by purchased-sheet area; kerf and margins are not finished-part area. Results are not globally optimal and do not provide cut order, clamping, grain/finish matching, defect avoidance, tool compensation, or structural-safety judgment.

Part labels can reveal a project

The page does not persist raw part inputs; refreshing or closing discards the current list. CSV downloads contain labels, width, height, quantity, and rotation settings, while the report studio and optional local checkpoints read the visible result summary. Project codes, customer part names, and dimensions may be commercially sensitive, so review them before copying, downloading, printing, or sharing.

Advertising and local preferences

This page uses Google AdSense Auto Ads. Google may use cookies or similar technologies under its policies. .miluland.com domain cookies sync language, theme, high contrast, a six-item recent-tools list, and up to 16 favorite tool IDs across MiluLand sites. These values never contain inputs, files, or results; the current site also keeps a local compatibility copy.

Local report studio

The report studio reads only the workbench’s currently visible result summary for local preview, Markdown copy, JSON download, printing, and a SHA-256 fingerprint. It never reads input controls or original files and is not persisted unless you choose to download it.

Optional local checkpoints

Only when you explicitly choose Save does the tool write the visible result summary, time, and optional short label to this site’s browser storage, up to five entries. Imported files and input-control contents are never stored; you can export, restore same-tool checkpoints, or clear them at any time. Imports are limited to 128KB and validate the tool, timestamp, summary, and label of up to 80 characters.
